Cherry Blossom: 24 September–11 October; Traverse Theatre.

A new production by homegrown talent, Scottish writer Catherine Grosvenor. Exploring identity, migration and what this means for 21st-century Europe, this multi-media piece should be an eye-opening performance.

With both Polish and British input, you may see some of Edinburgh reflected on the stage. Know before you go: read a preview (in Polish). The Glasgow Herald review deems the performance 'dazzling and heartfelt'. The main character, Grazyna, is played by any one of the actors on the stage, and the show flicks between her workplace, a Scottish sausage factory and life back in Poland, where her family live as she works to support them.
