Serviced Apartments now a "serious threat to mainstream hotels"

businesstraveleurope confirms what we have long suspected - serviced apartments are the accommodation of choice for corporate buyers. In their weekly newsletter they quote a report by ITM - the UK and Ireland Institute of Travel Management.

These findings mirror our experience - business and corporate guests now make up almost 50% of all bookings. There has been a steady growth over the past 12 months, showing that this trend is more due to overpriced hotels than financial necessity on our client's behalf.

46% of companies surveyed used a Travel Management Company (TMC) but yet 57% found that they could find cheaper rates themselves. Again this is underlines our experiences, our sales ninjas knock pounds off obese quotes.
