Show me the money. Show me the money. Which do you reckon is more rewarding, Edinburgh dog ownership or getting married in Edinburgh? Spiralling divorce rates and dogs proven to reduce stress during the credit crunch, living in Edinburgh, which should we go for?

Puppy Love

Be proud of your pooch. With obedience classes and agility training available all over Edinburgh - and even a dog groomer over in Broughton - you can get your self esteem sky high. It does involve self discipline for the owner though - walkies, even in the rain...
Get a NBF ('new best friend' for anyone who doesn't watch Gossip Girl). It's great to have someone to share Edinburgh with, so you can walk the streets without being thought a wierdo. Best of all, their loyalty doesn't rely on you liking their mates or finding them attractive the morning after.

Get Hitched in the Capital

Make 'em green. With Edinburgh wedding venues as diverse as the Roxburghe Hotel's glorious Atrium thriough to the frankly cool Edinburgh Zoo, having your wedding in Edinburgh could make it the yardstick all your guests measure future weddings by. Or even on the Forth Rail Bridge (below) - your wedding day could be one of the wonders of the 21st century. Wouldn't that make your day just a wee bit more special?

Make it to the church on time. You could make it a true romantic dash with a last minute Edinburgh wedding - up-to-the-minute kilts from shops on the Royal Mile like 21st Century Kilts, and a dress from trendy Cockburn Street boutiques.
