Daylight shows Edinburgh as a beautiful charming city – but by night the closes and wynds take on a more sinister aspect... revolting acts of torture, crime plus waves of plague are evident as ghosts and ghouls wander its streets.

Enter the underground vaults – these walls are said to have absorbed the painful memories of those who once lived and worked there. Not for the faint-hearted. Cling tightly to the person beside you: tour guides try to leave with the same number who entered!
