Located on the Royal Mile this standard studio apartment is perfect for a couple or two friends. The studio is on the 2nd floor and offers views over James Court. It is perfectly situated in the EH1 postcode area, just 2 minutes walk from the world-famous Edinburgh Castle.

The open plan living and sleeping area has a double bed, TV and DVD player. The bathroom retains some unique historical features, and has both bath and shower. All linen and towels are provided.

The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, oven, toaster, coffee and tea facilities and washing machine. A welcome pack consisting of tea and coffee is provided on arrival.

Local Information

Castle Studio Apartment 3/6 had a famous previous resident, Sir Patrick Geddes (1854-1932). He was interested in how people, and therefore society, are affected by the space and buildings around them. He was involved in George Street's architecture, and also in the construction of the Royal Mile's Camera Obscura.
