Information about the Area and History

The Harbour Royal Yachy Apartments are located on Western Harbour, a new, up-and-coming area. The area has attracted the Scottish Executive and is home to both the Royal Yacht Britannia (hence the apartment's name) and the Ocean Terminal entertainment complex.

For drinks and dining out, you can choose form a hige number and variety of Leith's eclectic range of watering holes. There is everything you could ask for, from fast food, friendly Italian to Michelin-starred fine dining.

Leith was once a busy fishing port. But you are more likely to find media businesses, such as games designers and advertising firm rubbing shoulders with you than fishermen, if you head shorewards.
