Taste of Edinburgh Festival 2008

Taste and Channel 4 brought the UK’s largest and most prestigious food and drink festival to Edinburgh for the second year in a row. ScottishApartment.com was thrilled to be the main sponsor of accommodation for the duration of the event.

Over four days, more than 22,000 visitors descended upon the Meadows for the food extravaganza; they could sample the food expertise of top chefs including Martin Wishart, Jean Christophe Novelli, Anthony Worrall Thompson and Steven Kitchin.

We also had 100s of participants that took part in the Wii Fit “Hula Hoop” competition. The Grand Prize Winner of the “Hula Hoops” was Sarah Houdas - congratulations to Sarah, who has won the Ultimate Quartermile Experience.
