Edinburgh's traders have spotted a way to save money and the environment. A £2500 grant from Edinburgh council means that Sciennes and Marchmont businesses will have cotton bags for their shoppers to use. An apple and a flower are the designs for the bags, designed by a Gwen Morris, a local pupil at James Gillespie school.
